Summary: It’s like the action RPG I’ve been hoping for but was ignorant about until this suddenly popped out free to play! XD But as I mentioned in the Shuffle review, it’ll take FOREVER to play this game completely free, and also requires a LOT of hours. I don’t have the time for that, so in the end I suckered for the full unlock at around $30.

As of last update, rank 70 and slacking off quite a bit to fill the pokedex, but still enjoying!

Summary: People complain about any f2p game if they have in-app purchases… but honestly this was better than rumble world in terms of f2p accessibility. I’ve yet to make a single purchase but I can get everything available with a bit of effort on a daily basis, and not even daily is necessary. All you need to do is farm Meowth stage for coins.

^- At least on the 3DS version. I tried the mobile version for a while, and after seeing how nerfed the Meowth stage, on top of EVERYTHING being more expensive, I’m sticking with the 3DS version. It is, after all, Nintendo’s public intent that their mobile games are a mere extension to get their audience to play the games on their home consoles in the end.

I told myself I’d be skipping this generation 6 altogether…. 6 months later, I’m sucked back in ORZ Although honestly, in great part due to Inazuma’s hiatus and Twitchplayspokemon. If there’s one thing I appreciate about Pokemon franchise, it’s the maintained value that your Pokemon have over the growing generations. For X and Y, it’s very awesome that all the languages are available regardless of region, EXCEPT that you’re stuck with one language per cartridge that you pick when you first start-up the game… le sigh.

I got myself a cheap used copy of Black for $25 that came with a completed game so that I could import my Pokemon from my older generations to X/Y. I’m glad that my D/P team is still able to tear up Pokemon in the Battle Maison. Getting my BP up.

I’m actually at the big pokemon-on-the-game-cover boss and I don’t feel like grinding up my level 40 pokemon to be able to capture it. So fucking bored of the game. XD;
