Sound: It never really occurred to me in the GBA mixes, but there’s a LOT of trumpets for this generation and I don’t care too much for it. The piano pieces at the end credits, etc are quite beautiful however, and the epic battle tracks with the digital rifts are amazing as usual.

Walking outside in towns has been improved, although I miss having skates. Walking inside buildings is still restricted by cell.
A lot of the things I wished would be improved from X/Y were NOT implemented, of course, since this is a remake… And of course they were more focused on nostalgia factor and kept a lot of things from the original Ruby/Sapphire.
One of the things I really wish they had kept from X/Y was the shops being in the Pokemon Center at least =w=; I understand the mapping issues that you need to keep the separate building for a Pokemart, but stillllll. Ugh.
Hi!
I don’t think I’ve ever commented on here before, but I figured I would now! ^_^
It’s a really good remake, and pretty much exceeded my expectations after HGSS. I also think the writing in this game is some of the best in the entire series, especially in places like Sea Mauville and the main story events, and pretty much all of the Delta Episode (Zinnia! <3 ). And the music is AMAZING – both the remixed tracks and the new ones – and has inspired me to finally start importing all the Pokemon game soundtrack CDs after years of dragging my feet.
Oh! And before I go:
