Title: Pokemon Sun & Moon

Title: Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon ポケモン超不思議のダンジョン
Platform: 3DS
Genre: Dungeon Crawler
Language: Japanese
Company: Spike Chunsoft
Summary: Haven’t played the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (PMD) series since the GBA one and parts of its sequel. Let’s see how far I get with this!

Enjoying pokemon super mystery dungeon a bit more than I thought I would so far, I know ppl on gamefaqs were lamenting that “catching them all” got too easy for their taste, but it’s fine for me. Spare me the mindless grinding & give more reward for time!

Title: Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken 大逆転裁判 ‐成歩堂龍ノ介の冒険‐
Platform: 3DS
Genre: Mystery, Adventure
Language: Japanese
Company: Capcom
Summary: A definite welcome new take on the Gyakuten Saiban series, but in the end, everything was VERY underwhelming compared to the main series. Smaller end of the blame for that is the limitations of the time period it’s set in, but they really could have done more…

Title: Pokemon Rumble World
Platform: 3DS
Genre: Action
Language: Japanese
Company: Nintendo
Summary: It’s like the action RPG I’ve been hoping for but was ignorant about until this suddenly popped out free to play! XD But as I mentioned in the Shuffle review, it’ll take FOREVER to play this game completely free, and also requires a LOT of hours. I don’t have the time for that, so in the end I suckered for the full unlock at around $30.

As of last update, rank 70 and slacking off quite a bit to fill the pokedex, but still enjoying!

Title: Pokemon Shuffle / PokeToru
Platform: 3DS, Android
Genre: Puzzle
Language: Japanese
Company: Nintendo
Summary: People complain about any f2p game if they have in-app purchases… but honestly this was better than rumble world in terms of f2p accessibility. I’ve yet to make a single purchase but I can get everything available with a bit of effort on a daily basis, and not even daily is necessary. All you need to do is farm Meowth stage for coins.

^- At least on the 3DS version. I tried the mobile version for a while, and after seeing how nerfed the Meowth stage, on top of EVERYTHING being more expensive, I’m sticking with the 3DS version. It is, after all, Nintendo’s public intent that their mobile games are a mere extension to get their audience to play the games on their home consoles in the end.

Title: Tales of Zestiria テイルズ オブ ゼスティリア
Platform: PS3, PC, PS4
Genre: Action RPG
Language: Japanese
Company: Namco Bandai
Summary: Bottom line is–This has 1 and a half star ratings out of 5 on AmazonJP and for legit reasons imo. Please, DO NOT make this your first Tales experience if you have the opportunity to play any of the other PS3 Tales instead. Forget the Alisha drama, my biggest beef with this series has everything to do with everything else about the game and THEN the lack of Alisha. That’s how bad it is.
