Title: Final Fantasy Type-0 (ファイナルファンタジー零式)
Console: PSP
Genre: Action RPG
Language: Japanese
Company: Square Enix
Summary: First off the bat, this title renews my faith in the Final Fantasy series a bit, since lately I’d been somewhat unimpressed compared with the hype. This title actually follows through with the hype for the most part.

Finished my 2nd playthrough. I must suck since I didn’t get the alternate ending even though I picked the 2nd choice for all those creepy red screens, so I ended up just watching it on Tudou. >_> Will probably end up creeping slowly around my 3rd playthrough with a guide to get all the side junk I missed. Thank goodness just about everything carries over.

Title: Tales of the Abyss
Console: PS2, Nintendo 3DS (port)
Genre: Tales of the Abyss
Language: Japanese
Company: Bandai Namco
Summary: My first 3DS game purchase! I watched the anime when it aired in Japan and enjoyed it. But since I know the story already, I might get sidetracked while I play this .___.; I did spend a hefty dollar to get the game though, so I’ll be sure to enjoy every dollar it’s worth eventually~ Luke \o/

10 years later I end up just emulating it on PS2 to get 60fps and 4k graphics. :V Finished the game for real this time though, instead of stopping somewhere after Yulia City, I believe.

Title: Tales of Xillia
Console: PS3
Genre: Action RPG, Fantasy
Language: Japanese
Company: Namco
Summary: 100% Platinum Trophy in around 100 hours.

And in the far future I will probably then bother with a third replay to re-enjoy the story with max grade.

Various light spoilers in the reviews, but as usual I stay away from any major spoilers. Ffff, I ship Jude/Milla so hard. /shy バリボー\^ω^/

Title: Shinigami to Shoujo [死神と少女]
Console: PSP
Genre: Otome, Visual Novel
Language: Japanese
Company: Takuyo
Summary: New Takuyo game ffff.
I was actually surprised to hear the main girl has a VOICE!… Just for the prologue apparently. XD; And of course you can customize which voices you hear and don’t.

So warning, I’ve ONLY done Hinase (Tattsun)’s route, and I don’t know how long it’ll be before I have the heart to go after anyone else even though this game interests me so… ^^;;

But I really have to give it my highest rating. Takuyo’s otome games just DO NOT DISAPPOINT.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR HINASE’S ROUTE UNDER THE CUT

Title: Inazuma Eleven Strikers (イナズマイレブンストライカーズ)
Console: Nintendo Wii
Genre: Action, Super-dimensional Soccer
Language: Japanese
Company: Level-5
Summary: Expecting big things since the game was delayed multiple times!
Screenshots up to the first “ending” are up. I’ve added my overall score and may fill in parts of the other sections later down the line… or I might just move on, because by then I will probably be buried in Inazuma Eleven GO 3DS. XDDD

I may expand the review a little more once I’ve had my off time from this game long enough and tried Extreme. But considering the few elements they added to Extreme, I doubt I’ll be changing my overall score.

Title: Moujuutsukai to Oujisama Portable (猛獣使いと王子様 Portable)
Console: PSP
Genre: Otome
Language: Japanese
Company: Idea Factory
Summary: Finished Erik’s (Kaji Yuuki) route~ Finished Shimono Hiro’s route too, and possibly thinking about Terashi, Midorin and Toriumi’s routes too… but I like the older two as animals sooo much more. XD;;;;; I might just move on instead, because the story isn’t very unique for each route…

Title: Vitamin X to Z ビタミンX to Z
Console: PSP
Genre: Otome
Language: Japanese
Company: D3 Publisher
Summary: They’re backkkkkkkkkkk. Hmm, I’m under the impression this game reads save data from Vitamin X and Z in order to unlock certain bits? Feel free to enlighten me. I’m not sure if it read my saves for Vit Z, or maybe I need to complete more of it (only finished one route on it)?

Title: Danball Senki (ダンボール戦機)
Console: PSP, 3DS
Genre: Action RPG
Language: Japanese
Company: Level-5
Summary: I’ve beaten the main story 3 times, once in the original game, once in Boost and 3rd time for Boost New Game+. I started a Baku Boost run but did not complete, will probably finish it sometime in the future when I have the time and GREAT URGE to come back to it, which will happen at some point for sure. Overall, I know that Baku Boost is pretty much an absolute port of Boost on PSP with the addition of… one LBX that doesn’t make much of a difference? I don’t even remember anymore.

As usual, LEVEL-5 proves itself to be an awesome GAME company rather than being in the background staff for producing anime. Unfortunately, most non-Japanese-speakers tend to be limited by only getting exposure from their anime and assuming that’s all there is to the company. Never ever.
