Title: Bunmei Haruka: Aoiza Ibunroku 文明開華 葵座異聞録
Console: PSP
Genre: Otome
Language: Japanese
Company: FuRyu
Summary: Another company of few games excelling wonderfully on the game controls. Why the f can’t Otomate/Idea Factory/etc be this awesome with game controls when they have SOOOO many titles/opportunities to improve? …
Story:
Characters:
Graphics:
Sound:
Gameplay: Controls that I daresay surpass even Takuyo’s latest game? It’s SUPER customizable, including a huge range of different SETS of controls (sets A-H, I personally use G since it has L to proceed for lines, while maintaining all of the other buttons I like to use). The use of lip motion with the voicing in this game is also something quite unique to this title, it’s done very well. So well that it weirded me out at first, until I realized it was because it was doing an even better job at what I’ve previously seen. XD;
Replay Value:
Overall: 7. The controls are AMAZING, really the best I’ve seen on any otoge so far. I also appreciated the page taken from games such as the Vitamin series, Lucian Bee’s, Renai Banchou etc to let characters get individual chapters, so you can skip from character to character. However, the game still left me much to desire in terms of actual otome content…

Kajikaji’s character was plenty interesting and he uses his LOW voice on a shorty for once!!!! *total moe shot* So it was still worth playing. If you’re interested in the other characters, all the merrier. I was considering Tattsun, but I really dunno if I want to take in an aho Tattsun character after someone like Hinase…
