Title: Uta no☆Prince-Sama♪: Debut [うたの☆プリンスさまっ♪Debut]
Console: PSP
Genre: Otome
Language: Japanese
Company: Broccoli
Summary: The long-awaited sequel to Uta no Prince-sama is here! kitaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ktkr.

Slowly getting S ranks on UtaPri Debut songs Pro Level~

Class S routes are available from the start, including Cecil! 8D! But I’m starting with Shou, because I like my shorties voiced by hiro-tan. XD;

But so um, after Shou’s route I literally just skipped through everyone else’s to unlock their songs for the Extra/Practice feature. I did randomly chance to stop at a scene in Cecil’s route where Hijirikawa goes completely out of character (w), so I might go back to that one sometime. But other than that I’m not so sure… anyone want to rec? I do feel I should at least go through some routes to find out the backgrounds of each of the 4 new guys. Ai’s was pretty interesting, it should be good when the anime sequel starts showing.

Title: Scared Rider Xechs + FD Portable スカーレッドライダーゼクス + FDポータブル
Console: PSP
Genre: Otome
Language: Japanese
Company: Red Entertainment, Rejet
Summary: I was going through the site when this was still PS2 only, and I was sooo excited for it…! The music and character songs only added to the excitement, because those character songs are really addicting.
But after years long wait for a PSP version and playing it, I’m not even motivated enough to finish the story after making it up to episode 6 or so. It got so repetitive, boring and aimless to me, I just can’t.
If someone wants to convince me otherwise, by all means try, but until then I’m just going to put this one into the tossbin.

Title: Tales of the Heroes Twin Brave テイルズ オブ ザ ヒーローズ ツインブレイヴ
Console: PSP
Genre: Action, Action RPG
Language: Japanese
Company: Namco
Summary: Like the Radiant Mythology series, I don’t have the time to grind mindless hours into this title, so just gonna enjoy what I can with the help of another’s save file. :D Thank you~~

Does this really need a review? XDDD Just noting it down for reference anyway.

Title: Shining Blade シャイニング・ブレイド
Console: PSP
Genre: Turn-based RPG
Language: Japanese
Company: SEGA
Summary: Decided not to do a full review on this unless I actually finish the main story, but that’s not likely to happen with the lack of time I have these days. So just leaving it on here as a record.

I got up to chapter 4, but have lost so much interest in the lackluster story+battle system+characters that I don’t think I’ll keep going. The whole battlefield song business doesn’t really do anything to me. I wish they’d just animated this instead of made it into another half-baked game =w=;

Production IG animated Shining Hearts but it ended up being a boring less-than-mediocre harem show with no action >_>;

Title: Kannou Mukashi Banashi Portable 官能昔話ポータブル
Console: PSP
Genre: Otome, visual novel
Language: Japanese
Company: Idea Factory
Summary: Unlike the typical otome game, the main appeal to this game is having the seiyuu narrate the full fairytales to you. Of course, since they spend so much of the time narrating the story, don’t expect very LONG stories…

Title: Kami Naru Kimi to 神なる君と
Console: PSP
Genre: Otome, Visual Novel
Language: Japanese
Company: Idea Factory
Summary: omg this MIGHT be the first Idea Factory game I could score as high as I do for Takuyo games? (I guess I really liked their Fushigi Yuugi games too but that was in great part due to my Nojinii bias). I hope it doesn’t disappoint because it’s got me nicely from the start.

*edit* Anddddd it does not disappoint…! My first high score for an Idea Factory game.~ If you like Takuyo’s otome games, this one should be right up your sleeve too. Also, for anyone who wants to CRY THEIR EYES OUT IN LOVE…~

But word of warning, I’ve only played Narumi’s route (but I won’t spoil, it’s best to experience the love yourself!). XD;

Title: Uta no Prince-sama Music うたの☆プリンスさまっ♪Music
Console: PSP
Genre: Rhythm Game
Language: Japanese
Company: Broccoli
Summary: Nothing but awesome music and a few cheesy lines from our idol seiyuu ;D

Unlocked all the pieces in a couple hours and am just playing it casually on my transit time from/to work when I feel like it. There’s not too much to say about this title, but that’s not a bad thing at all. :3

S-ranked all songs on Pro (including challenge) on 9/27/2012

Summary: Fukuyama Jun, Yonaga Tsubasa, Yoshino Hiroyuki, Sugita Tomokazu, Kosugi Juurouta, Yusa Kouji.
I’m going after Yonaga first, even with this cast. XD; I think I have a thing for shorties who try to act tough 8X~

Title: Final Fantasy Type-0 (ファイナルファンタジー零式)
Console: PSP
Genre: Action RPG
Language: Japanese
Company: Square Enix
Summary: First off the bat, this title renews my faith in the Final Fantasy series a bit, since lately I’d been somewhat unimpressed compared with the hype. This title actually follows through with the hype for the most part.

Finished my 2nd playthrough. I must suck since I didn’t get the alternate ending even though I picked the 2nd choice for all those creepy red screens, so I ended up just watching it on Tudou. >_> Will probably end up creeping slowly around my 3rd playthrough with a guide to get all the side junk I missed. Thank goodness just about everything carries over.
