Title: Kanuchi Futatsu no Tsubasa カヌチ 二つの翼
Console: PSP
Genre: Otome
Language: Japanese
Company: Idea Factory
Summary: Considering getting back into this later. Thank you for the info, loola!!
Story:
Characters: For white side, my first impression interests are Kajikaji and… Kase Yasuyuki, lol. And Tachibana, and some others. On black side, Suzuki Tatsuhisa, Yonaga Tsubasa might be candidates~

Sound:
Gameplay:
Replay Value:
Overall:

Um… I set this game on auto for like half an hour at the fastest speed (but not skipping) without getting a single voice out of the mass of text. Considering the full size of the two UMDs I would expect some voiced cutscenes at least. wtf?
Anyway, giving up on this one unless someone wants to enlighten me for a reason to continue.

    woah wait! it’s not voiced??? but i thought it was? oh man that is a major let down! and I was looking forward to buying this game too…

    Honestly I’m confused too since they’ve got voices listed on the website and all, but I ran it on auto all the way to the actual gameplay start, and I never heard a single voice.

    I dunno if you saw but apparently there’s a lot of running around and gathering materials to make swords and such ._.; It feels more of an item-gathering game than otome ORZ

    aww that’s too bad about the voices! I’m gonna ask around to see if others are having the same troubles. I can’t believe they took out the voice! ;^; and lol. I did notice it was a blacksmithing game. since I suck at reading japanese, I prefer otome games to have more gameplay action so I won’t just sit there and twiddle my thumbs hahaa. But anyway, that’s a waste of 75 bucks if it has no voice! D:

    It really would be a waste D: Even more if you really aren’t up for the Japanese reading because that’s all it turns into without the voices!! orz
    Please let me know if someone’s had a better turnout with this, I really can’t see why they made two full UMDs if they’re just gonna junk it up with time-wasting smithing game XD;;;

    Did you use CFW for this game? Voices don’t show unless you patch the game if you downloaded it. For those using OFW, rest assured it is a full voiced game :)

    whoa, that’s crazy XDDD; Good to know, thank you! If you have any further recommendation to continue in this game I’ll welcome that too. With my backlog I’m not sure if I’ll ever bother with what I know currently XD;;;

    Glad to have been a help, hope the game works for you :). I loved the game since it isn’t just pure visual novel, there’s mining and forging weapons kinda like the atelier games, so you wont be bored reading through hours of text. I also loved the music and moving backgrounds, felt very RPG like to me.

    aww kinda sad there wasn’t a review for this haha actually i almost gave up this game for the same reason that it wasn’t voiced despite the fact that there were seiyuus listed and the ps2 version was fully voiced haha but good thing i persevered and fixed the cfw shiz and got it to work~! actually the game is nice haha the stories are very in-depth, and really makes out one big plot once you’ve finished each character especially the last part about kayana…though i like black wings than white wings though personality-wise black wings people are bad-ass :D

    ohh, good to hear more comments about this title! I definitely need to find time to get back into it, that cast is just too much for me to resist!! It’s just the item collecting that detracts me because I prefer to just sit back and suck in the emotions with my otoge… XD; But it seems like it’s all very worth it in the end, once I get a big enough chunk of free time for it…!

    Did you ever go back and retry Kanuchi? I played it earlier this year and almost loved it. Would have loved it if the story hadn’t fallen apart near the end. I hope you give it another chance sometime.

    Hmm but the story would’ve been the only reason I was interested in the game though LOL. And even then it’s a bit of a tossup since it’s a hard sell for me in terms of stories for otome game, now that I’ve been working at a company that makes otome games for over a year. The item collecting didn’t draw me in whatsoever either, so I can’t imagine I’ll be getting back to this… XD;
