Title: Fire Emblem Kakusei ファイアーエムブレム覚醒
Console: Nintendo 3DS
Genre: Strategy RPG
Language: Japanese
Company: Nintendo
Summary: Doing a whole ton of gaiden chapters and working through various support conversations occupied me a good 72 hours before I beat the game. VERY strong Fire Emblem game! Very well worth the $55 I spent to get the Japanese version.

It’s been too many years since I’ve had the support system enjoyment of the GBA games and player control that isn’t ridiculously limited like the Wii game~ And I skipped Gamecube completely. And the DS games were just remakes which I played and got bored of relatively quickly.

But THIS one’s kept me going. Mostly cuz I’m a girl and I want those support conversations. DEAL. /pif

I am bawwww at the lack of S level supports for same gender characters. I want my bromance and sisterhoods too, kthx. But I AM wonderfully pleased at the sheer amount of supports in this game overall. Mmmmm~

Title: Inazuma Eleven GO Dark/Shine イナズマイレブンGO シャイン ダーク
Console: 3DS
Genre: Super-dimensional soccer RPG
Language: Japanese
Company: LEVEL-5
Summary:
3/5/11: I’ve cleared both Shine/Dark, unlocked Team Zero and have recruited just about everyone I want on Shine except for just a couple game-only characters. At around 90 hours of gameplay and I have 3 completely different teams at or almost at lvl 99. Not bad~

Random rantings/SLIGHT (extremely vague) SPOILERS under the cut until I get things organized (I refuse to post any heavy spoilers from beyond the anime, since you should go enjoy the game yourself if you want that.)

Title: Tales of the Abyss
Console: PS2, Nintendo 3DS (port)
Genre: Tales of the Abyss
Language: Japanese
Company: Bandai Namco
Summary: My first 3DS game purchase! I watched the anime when it aired in Japan and enjoyed it. But since I know the story already, I might get sidetracked while I play this .___.; I did spend a hefty dollar to get the game though, so I’ll be sure to enjoy every dollar it’s worth eventually~ Luke \o/

10 years later I end up just emulating it on PS2 to get 60fps and 4k graphics. :V Finished the game for real this time though, instead of stopping somewhere after Yulia City, I believe.

Title: Danball Senki (ダンボール戦機)
Console: PSP, 3DS
Genre: Action RPG
Language: Japanese
Company: Level-5
Summary: I’ve beaten the main story 3 times, once in the original game, once in Boost and 3rd time for Boost New Game+. I started a Baku Boost run but did not complete, will probably finish it sometime in the future when I have the time and GREAT URGE to come back to it, which will happen at some point for sure. Overall, I know that Baku Boost is pretty much an absolute port of Boost on PSP with the addition of… one LBX that doesn’t make much of a difference? I don’t even remember anymore.

As usual, LEVEL-5 proves itself to be an awesome GAME company rather than being in the background staff for producing anime. Unfortunately, most non-Japanese-speakers tend to be limited by only getting exposure from their anime and assuming that’s all there is to the company. Never ever.
